What the notary journal app includes

Notary Journal keeps a notary's day-to-day records in one place: a journal entry for each act with signature and thumbprint photo, a fee and mileage log, PDF and CSV export, renewal reminders, and a Face ID lock with on-device storage. Each feature below links to a detail page.

Journal entries with signature and thumbprint photo

Each entry captures the details of one notarization, then the signer's on-screen signature and an optional thumbprint photo. Details are on the journal entry page.

Fee and mileage log

Yes, the app tracks fees and travel on each signing entry and totals them by month. See the fee and mileage log page.

PDF and CSV export

You export entries as PDF or CSV for a date range you choose. Read the export page for the formats.

Commission and bond renewal reminders

Yes, you enter your commission and bond dates and get reminded ahead of time. See the reminders page.

Face ID lock and on-device storage

Your data is stored on your device and the app locks with Face ID. More on the privacy feature page.
